- The two DB9 serial ports are on a separate connector bracket, connected to the card by ribbon cables. Please make sure your case has room for it before ordering.
- This card is for a PCI Express slot. It is not for conventional PCI slots. A driver is needed on most Windows versions: please install it from the link below the specification table.

- ASIX AX99100 driver package, provided by the card manufacturer (Syba).
- Until the driver is installed, Windows Device Manager lists the card as PCI Serial Port and PCI Parallel Port entries with a yellow warning mark under Other devices. This is normal. Install the driver to enable the ports.

The SYBA E1-PCE99100-2S1P is a PCI Express x1 combo card that gives a desktop PC or workstation two DB9 RS-232 serial ports and one DB25 parallel (LPT) port in a single card. It uses the ASIX AX99100 controller, with 16C450/16C550 compatible UARTs and 256-byte FIFOs for the serial ports, and an IEEE 1284 parallel port supporting SPP, EPP and ECP. It suits POS, industrial control, serial and parallel printers and other legacy equipment on modern machines without onboard COM or LPT ports. Choose the normal or low profile bracket version to match your case. A driver download is provided for installation.
